Dodgers parade: The World Series celebration in Los Angeles ends with a rally at Dodger Stadium

During his onstage speech during Friday's championship celebration at Dodger Stadium, Kiké Hernández poked fun at rapper Fat Joe's performance before Game 3 of the World Series in New York.

“Then we go to New York and this guy used to be fat and he’s not fat anymore. His name is Joe,” Hernandez said. “He came and sang, and we didn’t have to play anymore because we had already won after that performance.”

During his onstage speech during Friday's championship celebration at Dodger Stadium, Kiké Hernández poked fun at rapper Fat Joe's performance before Game 3 of the World Series in New York.

Others also criticized Fat Joe's appearance at Yankee Stadium, leading to what some called the “Fat Joe curse”, which allegedly led to New York subsequently losing the series to the Dodgers.

Hernández paid tribute to Ice Cube, who strolled across the field at Dodger Stadium before Game 2 of the World Series and rapped a medley of some of his hits.

“Ice Cube came out in Game 2 – and with his performance, we didn't even have to play the game, we had already won it,” the outfielder said.
