I've put together the perfect Marvel superhero team to fight Knull, and it would be even better than The Avengers vs. Thanos

I think the fight against Knull has the potential to be better than the MCU fight against Thanos Avengers: Endgameespecially if Sony's Spider-Man universe uses a specific superhero team. So far, Sony's Spider-Man universe has only featured three main characters: Venom, Morbius and Madame Web Kraven the Hunter is set to debut the most obvious villain of this villainous troupe. Unfortunately, these characters were not as financially viable for Sony as the Marvel hero the franchise is named after, casting doubt on the future of Sony's film franchise.

In fact, Venom was previously the most financially successful character in Sony's Spider-Man universe Venom: The Last Dance ended his film career at Sony. It remains to be seen whether Tom Hardy's claims that this is truly the last we'll see of Venom can be believed now that Knull – a clearly Venom-related villain in Marvel Comics – is Sony's very own big bad. However, if he's being honest, I have the perfect replacement for Venom in mind that could be a big win for Sony.

Venom 3 introduced Knull, an Avengers-level villain

Knull is a primordial god in the Marvel Universe

Knull was eventually adapted into a live-action Venom: The Last Dance as an absent arch-villain who sends an army of symbiote-eating xenophages to hunt down Venom and his codex. Although Knull plays a smaller role in his debut film The Venom: The Last Dance The mid-credits scene all but confirmed that Knull would return to wreak havoc. To say the least, this is big news for Sony's main characters.

Knull is portrayed by Andy Serkis
Venom: The Last Dance
.

Knull is a god of darkness, symbiotes, and the void between the cosmosand is one of the most consequential and powerful villains in Marvel Comics. Knull's power is clearly godlike and is enhanced by his legendary sword All-Black, the Necro Sword, used to decapitate a Celestial and refined in the severed remains. He also had dominion over legions of symbiotes before they imprisoned him, as seen in Venom: The Last Dance.

If he is freed by Sony in the Spider-Man universe, nothing less than an Avengers-like force will be enough to stop him.

Knull's primary mission is to lead a crusade of darkness across the universe, using his god-like abilities and symbiotes to extinguish the light brought to the universe by the Celestials. If he is released in Sony's Spider-Man universe, Nothing less than the strength of the Avengers will be enough to stop him. Unfortunately, Sony doesn't own the rights to the Avengers or any Marvel characters that don't fall under the Spider-Man banner. However, a worthy replacement team is available.

I believe Sony's superhero team should be a live-action spider society

A team of spider people would be expected

It's no secret that the lack of a Spider-Man in Sony's Spider-Man universe is a source of some frustration. Even if Madam Web After two Spider-Women and Araña debuted, the three were completely underused and underserved in one of the worst-reviewed Marvel films. Sony's animated Spider-Verse films, on the other hand, are some of the best superhero films ever made. I don't think it's hard to see a connection here – although it would admittedly be negligent to suggest that the characters are the only thing that makes Sony's Spider-Verse films great.

10 reasons why critics and audiences love Across The Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is receiving high praise from critics and audiences alike, with several characteristics contributing to its success.

My point, however, is that Peter Parker isn't the only Spider-Man that Sony can capitalize on. Knull may be a formidable threat to the universe, but Spider-Man is one of the most powerful characters in Marvel Comics. Having multiple Spider-People, each with a unique function that you can bring to the table, is a completely different matter. Marvel Comics pitted several characters (including Miles Morales) against Knull, with Venom coming out on top. In a cinematic universe limited to Spider-People, the appropriate solution seems obvious.

Sony's Spider-Verse films are produced by Sony Pictures Animation Inc., part of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse proved how popular and captivating a full screen full of Spider-Man variants can be. On his part Sony has proven with this film and its sequel alone that it can handle the Spider-Man IP. So instead of introducing Knull to the MCU and thereby admitting that the character is better off in Marvel's cinematic universe, Sony should emulate what it's already accomplished and give us a live-action Spider-Society spectacle. It's probably the only opportunity we'll get, after all.

Who could be on Sony's Spider Society superhero team?

The Spider-Verse has proven that the possibilities are endless

Sony's Spider-Verse films have shown that, despite their obvious similarities, Spider-Man variants can feel even more unique than completely different superheroes. The list of comic-accurate variants to choose from is overwhelming, while the multiverse offers endless recruitment opportunities. Still, some familiar faces would be particularly suitable for a war against Knull.

The spider trio from Madame Web

Anya Corazon, Mattie Franklin and Julia Cornwall got seconds of screen time in their roles as Spider-Heroes in Spider-Heroes Madam Web – and they were perhaps the best seconds of the film. The trio deserve a second chance in Sony's Spider-Man universe, and The King in Black provides that opportunity. Aside from that, It would be amazing to know that these heroes exist after their inception Madam Webjust so they can sit out the cosmic battle against Knüll.

The main protagonists of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse

Miles Morales, Gwen Stacey, and Miguel O'Hara would all play fitting roles in the fight against Knull. Not only would the live-action adaptation of these Spider-Verse favorites be a huge draw, but there are also lore-based reasons to include them. Miles Morales and the symbiote-linked Gwen Stacey were on the front lines against Knull in Marvel Comicsfor example. Meanwhile, Miguel O'Hara is the lynchpin of the Spider-Society in the Spider-Verse, a role that could easily carry over into the live-action adaptation.

Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker

Although it remains unlikely due to their age that Sony's Spider-Man universe intends to reintroduce either Garfield or Maguire as the main Peter Parker, their latest multiversal outing is in Spider-Man: No Way Home helped prove their popularity. Instead of diminishing the impact of this nearly two billion dollar outing by having them appear again in the MCUs Spider Man 4Sony can capitalize on its star power by having these Peter Parkers help lead the attack against Knull.

Captain Universe

The Enigma Force is a god of light and the counterpart to Knull in Marvel Comics. The creature plays a key role in defeating Knull when it teams up with Eddie Brock in a climax: “Hail Mary” against Knull's insurmountable attack. Given Tom Hardy's comments too Venom: The Last Dance However, since this is the final appearance of the titular anti-hero, it looks like Venom will sit out the final battle against Knull.

Tom Hardy also stated that he wants his Venom to fight Tom Holland's Spider-Man, suggesting he could be brought back into the role.

In this sense, The Enigma Force can still play its part by teaming up with another Marvel Comics host: Peter Parker. When Spider-Man is imbued with the Enigma Force, he becomes Captain Universe and has the god-like powers necessary to defeat the God of Darkness. Given that the comic accuracy was compromised by Venom's omission from the fight, there's also no reason why the Enigma Force couldn't link up with another character like Miles Morales instead.

I'm confident that Sony's King In Black film can compete with Avengers: Endgame

All the parts are there

Confidence in Sony's Spider-Man universe has been shaken by the appearances of Madam Web And Morbius. The MCU's handling of Spider-Man and countless other Marvel characters has now received far greater praise. Avengers: Endgame is a prime example of this: the climax of the Russo Brothers' Infinity Saga is still considered one of the best Marvel films ever made, and the highest box office returns prove it. Obviously Sony is behind – but I won't resign myself to the idea that an adaptation of The King in Black is doomed to failure.

All I'm saying is that if Sony can replicate the quality of its Spider-Verse franchise, then a Spider-Man-filled King in Black adaptation could at least be on par with Avengers: Endgame.

But Sony still has a lot of work to do the pure spectacle of King in Black has every chance of keeping up with what you see Avengers: Endgame. Additionally, Spider-Man remains Marvel's most popular character, and while Marvel's ability to highlight and popularize lesser-known characters like Iron Man has a lot to say, Sony is counting on an easy win with a screen full of Spider-People. All I'm saying is that if Sony can replicate the quality of their Spider-Verse franchise, then a Spider-Man game King in Black Adaptation could at least be on equal footing with Avengers: Endgame.
