Craig Berube of the Maple Leafs announces changes and demotes the star from the top power play unit

After three straight losses, the Toronto Maple Leafs knew they had to make a change, Lance Hornby reported.

And by breaking up the second line and moving Max Pacioretty forward on the left side with center John Tavares and William Nylander, it was exactly the change the team needed as the Leafs rattled off two straight wins.

Meanwhile, Max Domi and Bobby McMann were in a third unit with checker Pontus Holmberg, while Matthew Knies joined first-liners Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews in the top man-advantage unit.

Diddy's alleged need for girls at his 'Freak Off' sex parties has been revealed

The stories about Sean “Diddy” Combs' alleged “freak-off” sex parties continue to dominate the headlines, and the latest one is just as unsavory as the others.

According to a party planner, Diddy was very particular about the girls he wanted to see at said parties, and the rapper reportedly had a need for them, Mark Daniell reported, due to their weight (“no love handles, no cellulite”), no excessive piercings, or Tattoos, no short hair, and they had to be “young and hot.”

Shudder.

The dress code was also disgusting, particularly very short party dresses that were just long enough “to cover her buttocks” but also “no longer than mid-thigh.”

Cleavage was a must, as were sky-high stilettos.

And of course age was never taken into account.

SHUDDER.

Police say mother intentionally traveled over Niagara Falls with two children

A 33-year-old mother who was climbing over a safety railing at Niagara Falls with her two children intentionally fell over the falls, New York State Police said.

Authorities responded to the park Monday evening, but subsequent search and rescue attempts were unsuccessful for the woman, a nine-year-old and a five-month-old child.

The investigation concluded that the incident was “deliberate in nature,” but the circumstances surrounding the tragedy “remain under investigation.”

“It was a photo of a sunset along with the Chicks' cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' with lyrics by Stevie Nicks meant to reflect on life's changes and challenges,” Daniell said.

“Oh mirror in the sky, what is love? / Can the child in my heart rise / Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean?”

That and three heart emojis – do they mean his own three children, two of whom are with Bundchen (his oldest son is with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan), or something else?

LILLEY: LCBO CEO screws up paper bags, symbol of trouble

It may be time for LCBO President and CEO George Soleas to dust off his resume after its largest shareholder had to correct its actions twice in just a few months, wrote Brian Lilley.

In April, Premier Doug Ford had to rebuke the LCBO over its decision to eliminate paper bags for customers.

Then last week, Ford had to order the state liquor monopoly to find an Ontario supplier, just as it had been instructed to do months ago.

In July, Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy, whose ministry oversees the LCBO, outlined the need for the government agency to promote Ontario products both on store shelves and in procurement, including securing a supplier for paper bags.

The Ford government has been promoting “Made in Ontario” and “Buy Ontario” policies since the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. When the LCBO signed a two-year contract with a Quebec-based company, it obviously wasn't well received.

Combined with the first strike in its 97-year history, it wasn't a great year for the LCBO.
