Speculating about the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favorite pastime for many fans, perhaps even more important than watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors from the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important note: Rumors are just that – rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it's just circulating in the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track the veracity of the rumors in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back, which you can find here. Remember to take everything with caution.

Rumors for this day:

  • PW Insider says Goldberg is not currently scheduled Crown jewel in Saudi Arabia, so the story of GUNTHER will not be spread further at this show, at least not through a personal appearance by Goldberg.

  • Fightful Select notes that WWE has contacted Lita about potentially having a match at next week's NXT show at the ECW Arena.

  • They also say the show will take place on Wednesday because CW asked WWE to move it to make room for election night coverage.
  • Bobby Lashley claimed on the Lame Guys podcast that some wrestlers tried to fire Omos when he started in WWE “because he hit them too hard and stuff like that.”
  • According to Fightful, Mustafa Ali's name has appeared in pitches behind the scenes at AEW.
  • WWE is now looking for a “new Director of Music Strategy & Operations,” says the Observer. This came after word spread that Def Rebel may be breaking up with the company once his contract expires.
