'Agatha All Along' Showrunner Reflects on Major Spoiler Leaked Early

Agatha all the time Showrunner Jac Schaeffer talks about the leaks that revealed the true identities of two iconic characters early on.



Speaking to Collider, Schaeffer was asked about the Funko Pop revelations about the true identities of Joe Locke's Teen and Aubrey Plaza's Rio. “That was a difficult questionSchaeffer replied. “All respect goes to every single person who works on these shows, both the actual production, marketing, merchandise, parks and everything.” The number of people that touch this show, I love them all and am grateful to them all. That was difficult to bear.”

Two Funko Pops based on the characters of Locke and Plaza will be released in early October Agatha all the time were leaked on social media. The leaks ultimately revealed the characters' true identities as Wicca and Death long before those revelations were made in the series itself. Although there were several clues to the true identity of Locke's “Teen,” that of Plaza's “Rio Vidal” did not become clear to audiences until well into the series.

While Agatha all the time is currently one of the best-received Marvel Cinematic Universe series and, notably, was produced on a much lower budget than predecessors such as: WandaVision. Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television and animation at Marvel Studios, recently talked about how to do this Agatha all the time's smaller budget helped the show overall, noting, “Honestly, it gives us a little more creative freedom if we can bring it in on a reasonable budget.” Winderbaum stated, “I like it [Agatha All Along]The show, for example, has minimal CG, much less than ever before. It’s mostly practical effects, and I think you can feel it in the show.”
