ABC's newest crime drama “High Potential” just broke a long-held network record

ABC's vision for High potential stuck with the audience. The series garnered great viewership and broke several network records in the five weeks it aired. According to a report by Deadline, High potential Season 1 is ABC's most-watched new series in six years and is a breakthrough season The Conners'Record set in the 2018/2019 TV season. The episode, broadcast on October 22, was watched by 6.83 million viewers in the Live + 7 Days Nielsen ratings, putting ABC at the top of the Tuesday night list of all broadcast channels for the first time in four years.




The show has continued to grow in delayed viewers as streaming attracts larger audiences and the number of episodes surpasses 10 million. The episode, as previously mentioned, rose to 10.49 million viewers when taking into account streaming data from Hulu and Disney+. This is a 191% increase over the Live + Same Day ratings of 3.6 million viewers. It also seems that viewers keep coming back to see more of Morgan and the team, as there was no significant drop in viewership after the pilot episode.


What is “High Potential” about?

In High potential, Kaitlin Olson It stars Morgan, “a single mother with an extraordinary mind whose unconventional talent for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a skilled detective.” It is based on Skin Potential Intellectuel (HPI), a popular French series. Other stars are Daniel Sunjata as Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot, and Judy Reyes as Selena. The series was written by Drew Goddardwho also serves as executive producer Sarah Esberg And Todd Harthan.

According to the official logline below for Episode 7, “One of Us,” airing November 12, Morgan finds himself in a strange position when the precinct is taken hostage by a group claiming to be a convicted friend of theirs be innocent. The group allows the team to look at the case with fresh eyes or blow up.

“Morgan agrees to guide Ava through the LAPD, but things quickly take a dangerous turn when the precinct is taken hostage by the friends of a recently convicted man. Can Morgan and the detectives outsmart their captors and get everyone to safety?”
