Canadian citizen charged with raping woman in Chiba

CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police arrested a 52-year-old Canadian citizen earlier this year for allegedly sexually assaulting a drunk acquaintance at an apartment in Sakura City, TV Asahi reports (November 2).

In September, Amin Khashuri, an executive at a used car dealer, was suspected of forcing an acquaintance to drink alcohol in her apartment. He then took her into a bedroom and sexually abused her.

During questioning, the suspect partially denied the allegations. “I didn’t force her,” he said.

According to police, Khashuri poured the alcohol directly into the woman's mouth and forced her to drink it.

The incident came to light last month when the woman sought police advice.
