“SNL's Weekend Update Features Trade Election Jokes and Heidi Gardner Parodies Consent-Eluding Reba McEntire.”

This week's “Weekend Update” on Saturday Night Live was packed with election footage ahead of Election Day, including hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che trading jokes and an appearance by Heidi Gardner, who parodied country star Reba McEntire as a celebrity , which evades policy endorsement.

Jost opened with a dig: “Next week the American people will decide whether the next president will be Kamala Harris or whether everyone on SNL will be tested.”

Then it transitioned to presidential candidate Donald Trump's various, for lack of a better word, interesting decisions at last-minute election rallies and media appearances, including parading around with his name on a garbage truck, piling on the fake tan, and appearing to mime on a microphone stand a blow job. At this point, Che spoke at Trump's much-discussed rally at Madison Square Garden.
