People leave Trump rally early again, video shows

A video shared on social media appears to show people leaving a Donald Trump rally while the former president is still speaking.

In recent months, several similar videos have circulated online that appeared to show Trump supporters leaving a rally for the Republican presidential candidate early.

The latest video was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by Washington Examiner Reporter Samantha-Jo Roth on the evening of November 2nd as Trump held a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In the video, a small group of people can be seen walking down the bottom row of the stands toward the back of the event as Trump continues to speak at the front.

It's hard to tell if fans are leaving the entire event, but it's clear Trump is still speaking as a number of people leave the stage.

Roth captioned the post: “In case anyone is wondering, there are actually people leaving Trump's rally early. To be fair, many of them have been here since AM.”

The post has since garnered 22,000 views.

Newsweek The Trump campaign emailed outside of business hours seeking comment.

X account Art Candee, who has more than 115,000 followers, commented on the post, “As always.”

The anchor of ABC News If you listen show that Matt Bevan also shared videos from a Trump rally in Detroit that he posted on November 1st.

He wrote: “I was in Detroit for a small event. Despite Trump's claim that no one leaves early, many people left early. From about 25 minutes into his speech there was a steady stream.”

In the comments, he added: “I should note that everyone in the room had been there for two hours before coming on. So Speers and I left about an hour into his speech, but it looks like he's headed in the right direction.”

He also wrote that Trump was supposed to come at 4:30 p.m. and arrived around 4:45 p.m., and “people started leaving around 5:10 to 5:15 p.m.”

The post has since garnered more than 54,000 views.
