Giants-Commanders inactive: RB Brian Robinson Jr. will not play for Commanders

The key inactive player in Sunday's game between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders is not a Giant. It's Washington running back Brian Robinson Jr. The Commanders' leading rusher will miss the game with a hamstring injury.

Robinson rushed for a season-high 133 yards on 17 carries in the Commanders' 21-18 Week 2 win over the Giants. Robinson practiced before the game but apparently didn't feel healthy enough to play.

For the Giants, punter Jamie Gillan will miss the fourth straight game with a left hamstring injury. Matt Haack will punt again.

Wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton (Achilles) will be inactive. Ford-Wheaton is a major contributor on special teams. Linebacker Ty Summers, another key special teams player who missed last week's game with an ankle injury, will play.
