One person died in an ATV accident on Busco Beach overnight

BUSCO BEACH, N.C. (WITN) – One person was killed in an ATV accident at Busco Beach and ATV Park overnight, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

According to officials, Wayne County 911 received a call about an ATV accident around midnight. According to officials, it was a rollover accident that killed one person.

Officials say Mar Mac Fire, Wayne County EMS, Sheriff and Highway Patrol all responded.

Busco Beach has experienced several fatal accidents over the years, including ATV accidents and drowning deaths.
