Jasper man faces drug trafficking charges after authorities found a hidden safe full of meth

DUBOIS CO., Ind. (WFIE) – An ongoing investigation in Dubois County has led to the arrest of a Jasper man on felony drug charges.

On October 25, the Dubois Co. Sheriff's Office and Jasper Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Leopold Street.

During a search of the home, officers said they found a black safe hidden in the rafters.

According to DCSO, the safe contained five bags of meth and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.

According to officials, the meth weighed a total of 155.4 grams, or about 5.5 ounces.

The suspect, Clinton J. Allen, was arrested and booked into jail on $25,000 bail.

He is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance – controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
