Hubbard ran for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

The Panthers (2-7) got big games from two rookies, as tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders caught four passes for 87 yards and wide receiver Xavier Legette had his fourth touchdown of the season in an embarrassing 47-10 loss in the week 1 to take revenge on their divisional enemies.

Hubbard then ripped up the middle for his second goal of the game.

The Saints had a chance to win with a field goal in the final two minutes, but the Panthers defense stiffened and Jadeveon Clowney made a big sack on second down. Dane Jackson deflected a four-point pass from Carr down the left sideline to Cedrick Wilson to seal it.
