Famous lawyers behind “Reality Reckoning” are accused of tricking Bravo’s Tom Sandoval into pointing the finger at network NBC Universal

The high-profile lawyers running the so-called “Reality Reckoning” are accused of trying to persuade a reality star to smear the campaign's main target, reality giant Bravo.

Along with Bravo alum Bethenny Frankel, attorneys Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos loudly launched the crusade last year, vowing to make NBC Universal — the company that owns Bravo — pay for what it called “grotesque and depraved mistreatment” of its stars.

The “settlement” appears to have made little progress since then.

Now, “Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval tells Page Six that Geragos and Freedman offered to drop a scathing lawsuit against him if he was willing to “point the finger” at NBC Universal and help them argue the case to help reveal that the company concocted a storyline that would humiliate their client, Sandoval's ex-girlfriend Rachel Leviss.

In 2023, reality fans were captivated by “Scandoval,” in which it was revealed that Sandoval was having an affair with co-star Leviss behind the back of his fiancée Ariana Madix, who also starred on “Vanderpump Rules.” The fraud came to light when Sandoval's cell phone, which contained the incriminating images and videos, fell out of his pocket and was handed to Madix.

Leviss eventually sued Sandoval and Madix in a revenge porn lawsuit, claiming that Sandoval secretly filmed her having FaceTime sex and that Madix sent her the recordings to shame her. (Madix has asked to be dismissed from the case, claiming that she never sent footage to anyone but Leviss, and Sandoval has denied that he secretly recorded it.)

Now, Sandoval claims that sometime in the summer of 2024, Freedman and Geragos contacted his attorneys Varand Gourjian and Tara Karamians of Gourjian Law Group and offered a quid pro quo.

“My lawyer said to me, 'They made you an offer – I know you won't accept it – but I have to put it in front of you: If you point the finger at NBC Universal, they will drop the case against him .' You.”

He tells us that the lawyers asked him if he would be “willing” to say that NBC Universal agents “tricked” him into revealing the affair to Madix.

A representative from Gourjian Law Group told us: “We cannot comment on settlement offers made to our client, but my impression is that Leviss intended from the outset to make the studios their ultimate target, as various passages in the law demonstrate. “Lawsuit they filed [against Sandoval and Madix]. Tom Sandoval has always stated that the studios had absolutely nothing to do with the unfortunate events.”

When asked about the claims, Geragos and Freedman said: “Tom claims he lost his phone. Tom claimed he lost his lawyer. Tom actually lost his motion to dismiss [the revenge porn suit]. It looks like he’s lost his mind now.”

(Sandoval didn't actually “lose” his lawyer. He fired a lawyer he had hired to work on the revenge porn matter.)

The letter, dated 2024, promises that the “day of reckoning” has arrived for NBCUniversal – which also includes the reality-heavy E! – Geragos and Freedman claimed they had “a significant number of people” willing to tell their stories.

But they haven't filed a claim yet, and as Page Six recently reported, they've given up representing “Real Housewives” star Brandi Glanville in a lawsuit against Bravo.

The lawyers had sent a separate letter to NBCUniversal asking the company and Bravo figurehead Andy Cohen to prepare for a lawsuit over the way she treated Glanville during her time on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and ” Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls' “Trip,” including a sexually charged private message Cohen sent to Glanville in 2023. (Cohen has denied wrongdoing and a third-party investigation cleared him of wrongdoing).

Meanwhile, a separate case is ongoing that former “Real Housewives of New York” star Leah McSweeney has brought against Cohen and the broadcaster, among others. She is represented by another lawyer.

Another case brought by Caroline Manzo against NBCUniversal, in which she claims she was sexually harassed by Glanville during tapings for Bravo, is also pending. She also has another lawyer. (Glanville has denied wrongdoing).
