Lions fan in cheese grater hat went viral during Week 9 win over Packers

The Detroit Lions appear to be true Super Bowl contenders after improving to 7-1 on the season with a win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 9.

Similar to the Lions' offense, fans are confident in this year's team. So much so that one fan took a trip to Lambeau Field, home of the “Cheeseheads,” and bravely decided to enter enemy territory wearing a cheese grater hat.

It's been a while since Detroit fans have seen a road game in Green Bay and could reasonably expect a win, and a big one at that. However, that is the case this year and the fan, who later identified himself as David Bodine, was happy to wear the cheese grater outfit to the game.

It didn't take long for the Fox show to spot Bodine in the crowd. He made several appearances on the broadcast as the Lions quickly defeated the Packers on the field, winning 24-14.

The Lions beat the Packers twice at Lambeau Field last year, but before those two wins, Detroit hadn't won on the road in Green Bay since 2018. They are now on a three-game winning streak against their rivals. and their fans also come from the stands.
