Early leak reveals details about the Galaxy S27 series chipset

While we wait for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, we are getting leaks about the Galaxy S26 and now the Galaxy S27. According to a Korean news outlet, Samsung has reportedly started developing its Exynos 2700 chipset to power them.

The chipset is codenamed Ulysses and is based on Samsung's upcoming second-generation 2nm manufacturing process (SF2P).

The updated manufacturing node promises a 12% increase in performance, a 25% reduction in power consumption and an 8% reduction in chip size compared to the older generation, which again has not yet hit the market.

Mass production is scheduled to begin in 2026, in time for the release of the Galaxy S27 in 2027.
