Man accused of hitting man in the head with broken end table, police say

A Hilltown Township man has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated assault for allegedly attacking a man with a broken end table, causing a cut to the victim's head.

Jordan Glove, 31, from the 10thTh Yarrow Court Block is free on 10% bail of $8,000 ahead of a Nov. 26 preliminary hearing before District Judge Regina Armitage. Glove's bond was reduced from 10% of the $35,000 cash bond, according to court documents.

On Oct. 19 at 8:02 p.m., police were dispatched to Handschuh's home, where a victim reported he had been hit in the head with a table, according to the complaint.

When they arrived, police found the victim lying on the ground, bleeding profusely from a large cut on the top of his head, police said.

The victim told police he got into an argument with Glove, which led to a physical fight between them, according to the affidavit. The victim became stuck between a bed and the wall, at which point Glove allegedly began kicking and punching him before picking up a broken end table and throwing it at the victim's head.
