Riverhead man charged with drunk driving with two children in the car

A Riverhead man was arrested, police said for Drunk driving with two children in the car.

According to police, the incident occurred Sunday evening in Riverhead.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Doris Avenue and said they noticed the driver, Aquilino Gonzalez Salinas, was under the influence.

There was a 4-year-old and an 11-year-old in the car.

Gonzalez Salinas is expected to face a judge.
