At the billing counter, one of the group explains that there are several options for cashless payment. This includes making payments by scanning your phone and a QR code. But the other option is even simpler: just a quick wave of your hand in front of a scanner. We see the person demonstrate this and the cashier indicates that the payment has been made. Another person in the group also performs the same hand scan to pay. The vlogger is amazed at how fast and smooth this form of transaction is.

The text in the video reads “China lives in 2050”. Watch the full reel below:

The viral video has been viewed over 10 million times so far. In the comments, some people praised this technology, while others weren't entirely convinced. Some wanted it to be adopted in other countries. Previously, a few months ago, another video detailing this Palm payment method took social media by storm. The excerpt from a report was shared by industrialist Harsh Goenka on X. In the clip, the presenter can be seen registering her handprint on a device at a subway station and then paying for her ticket with her hand.
