This UIW touchdown celebration is going viral in the NFL

SAN ANTONIO – University of the Incarnate Word Cardinals wide receiver Jalen Walthall gets his moment in the spotlight after a unique touchdown celebration goes viral.

It all started on Saturday when the Cardinals took on the Houston Christian Huskies. Walthall scored a 50-yard touchdown in the third quarter and celebrated with a headstand.

This earned him a penalty flag, but the Cardinals ultimately defeated the Huskies 45-20 and the celebration gained traction on social media. However, the virality doesn't end there.

Walthall's video was later paired on NFL Instagram after the Atlanta Falcons' Drake London tried to replicate that move after a 9-yard touchdown that would put them on the path to victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Unfortunately for London, his touchdown came at a high price. According to the Associated Press, he suffered a hip injury and was out for the remainder of the game.

Meanwhile, Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown also took advantage of the move after scoring a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers.

Currently, the video of the original celebration has over 62,000 likes on ESPN's Instagram, with many questioning the penalty flag Walthall received.
