Jason Kelce talks about destroying Heckler's phone after taunting Travis-Taylor

Jason Kelce is speaking out after a video of him throwing a college football fan's phone as he taunted his brother Travis Kelce with a homophobic slur went viral online.

At the helm of ESPN Monday night countdown On the show, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center addressed the incident, during which he also called the fan a “f***ot.”

“Everyone saw what happened,” Kelce said. “I am not happy with everything that happened. I'm not proud of it. In a heated moment I decided to meet hate with hate and I don't think that's a productive thing to do, I really don't. I don’t think it creates a discourse and that it’s the right way to do things.”

“At that moment I fell to a level I shouldn’t have. Ultimately, I try to live my life by the golden rule. I was always taught to treat people with decency and I will try to do that in the future. Even though I came up short this week.”

Saturday after his appearance on ESPN College game day At the Ohio State-Penn State game, a fan was filmed approaching Kelce and saying, “Hey, Kelce. How does it feel that your brother is dating Taylor Swift?” refers to Kelce's brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who has been dating Swift since last year.

Jason is then seen grabbing the man's phone and smashing it on the ground. In other footage shared online, the fan can be seen searching for his phone and appearing to say to Jason: “Give me my phone bro” and pushing him before Kelce tells him: “Who's the devil now?”

Penn State University police are reportedly investigating the incident between Kelce and the unidentified college football fan at the school.
