Sterling Shepard is active in Week 9

Shepard (hamstring injury) will be listed as active Monday in Kansas City, Buccaneers' Scott Smith reports on the official website.

Shepard was limited to a limited practice (Saturday) during preseason Week 9 due to a hamstring issue, but that won't stop him from being available to an otherwise struggling receiving corps. Tampa Bay will be completely without Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring) for Week 9, meaning Shepard should be targeted early and often by QB Baker Mayfield, assuming he is not inhibited itself. In addition to Shepard, Trey Palmer, Ryan Miller, Rakim Jarrett and Marquez Callaway will be the active options at the position on Monday.
