Passenger killed in hit-and-run accident in Denver's Central Park neighborhood

One person was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Denver's Central Park neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to Denver police.

Police initially reported a fatal single-vehicle crash at 3:41 a.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

But on Monday, DPD officials said the accident involved two vehicles, the driver who caused the accident fled on foot and a passenger in that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
