Where is my polling station? When do the polling stations open? – NBC New York

There are only a few hours left to cast your vote in this year's hotly contested elections.

More than a million people across the Tri-State voted early before Election Day. That number is expected to rise even further when polls close their doors on Tuesday evening.

The outcome of Tuesday's election will shape the future of the country and determine whether the new White House has allies or skeptics on Capitol Hill – or faces a divided Congress like this past session, one of the most turbulent and unproductive in modern times.
