Live results from the 2024 Illinois presidential election

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Illinois for the state's 19 Electoral College votes. The Liberal state has voted for the Democratic candidate in the last two elections. Trump's campaign focus was on the economy, immigration and crime. Since taking over as Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden left office, Harris has argued that she would usher in a new era and has worked to improve the care economy, protect abortion rights and uphold democracy. In 2020, Biden won Illinois with 58% of the vote to Trump's 41%. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won Illinois with 56% to Trump's 39%. Illinois is a reliably blue state and has voted for the Democratic candidate in every presidential race since 1992.
