Live 2024 Senate Election Results: Texas

Sen. Ted Cruz (R) and his Democratic rival, Rep. Colin Allred, will face off in the Texas Senate race on Tuesday.

Cruz is in a hard-fought re-election battle with Allred. Although The Hill/Decision Desk HQ forecast gives the Republican a 75 percent chance of victory, several polls in recent weeks have shown the race tightening.

The race is one of the most watched contests because it could help determine which party controls the upper chamber next term.

According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ, Cruz leads Allred by three percentage points in the Lone Star State.
