Suspects accused of stealing $1.7 million from Metro Jail jewelry store

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The suspects involved in the armed robbery of a jewelry store were being held at the Metro Jail, according to Metro Nashville Police.

Orlando Valdes Hernandez, 34, and Milleni Garcia, 38, were accused of stealing $1.7 million worth of jewelry from Dubai Jewelry on Nolensville Pike in October. The two were arrested by police in Miami on October 27th. Police seized jewelry, cash and a wig.

Hernandez and Garcia were returned to Nashville from Miami on Tuesday. Hernandez was given a $450,000 bond and Garcia was given a $330,000 bond.

Metro police said investigators were still working to gather information about the 3approx Accomplice in the robbery.
