The asymmetrical camera design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is leaky

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are launching in just a few days (or even hours), making them the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The 15 Ultra features a circular camera module with sensors arranged in a unique, inverted “L” arrangement – an asymmetry that might bother people with OCD. The setup consists of two flash modules at the top, a Leica logo and a periscope telephoto camera at the top position.

This flagship has a total of four cameras, most notably a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom and an F/2.6 aperture, powered by a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor. The main camera uses a 50 megapixel Sony sensor as well as a 50 MP ultra wide angle and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch 2K LTPO display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Power comes from a huge 6000mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. It runs on Xiaomi's HyperOS, based on Android 15. Expect some exclusive Leica-inspired camera features including new filters, LOG and LUT shooting modes, and AI improvements.

This is definitely a device that camera enthusiasts shouldn't miss out on.
