Detroit Pistons reveal starting lineup against Charlotte Hornets

After an off day, the Detroit Pistons are back on the court to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night. Detroit looks to continue its first winning streak of the 2024-2025 NBA season.

Last week was almost perfect for the Pistons. Last Wednesday they traveled to a match against the Philadelphia 76ers. For the first time this year, the Pistons won.

Last Friday, the Pistons returned to their home stadium to host the New York Knicks. The match didn't go as expected.

The Pistons have struggled in every match all season despite being underdogs. The Pistons suffered their first big loss of the year against the Knicks. Luckily, they found a way to get back on their feet over the weekend.

In an afternoon game away from home against the Brooklyn Nets, the Pistons won their second win of the year. They had a quick turnaround and faced the Los Angeles Lakers at home the following night.

For the first time this season, the Pistons managed to record their first series of consecutive victories. The win came against a 4-2 Lakers team that currently has an early MVP candidate in rising center Anthony Davis.

After this win, the Pistons will look to record their third win in a row on Wednesday against the Hornets.

The Pistons have started with the same starting five since the start of the 2024-2025 NBA season. While JB Bickerstaff tinkered with the lineup throughout the preseason, hinting at a possible role change for Hardaway, who was struggling with his shot, the Pistons have been happy with the former Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter through eight games.

The Pistons and Hornets are scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
