Man arrested and charged with domestic violence after standoff in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. –

A man is arrested and charged with domestic violence after a brief standoff Tuesday in Tulsa.

Tulsa police said officers responded Tuesday morning to a home near 31st and Utica where a woman told them Matthew Moreland had beaten and strangled her.

Investigators said Moreland returned to the home but was eventually arrested by officers.

Police said he is the suspect in an arson investigation in Tulsa and also has an arrest warrant out of Arkansas.
