Here are some of the most embarrassing moments from Trump's final term:

He pushes NATO officials at his first summit

Newly elected and ready to represent the United States on the world stage, President Donald Trump chose a less subtle way to move. At the 2017 NATO summit in Brussels, the Republican was seen punching Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic on the arm and pulling him forward.

The footage, which went viral on social media and was seen as an embarrassment around the world, also showed Trump confidently adjusting his suit after the advance. NATO leaders were shocked by his move and forced to hide a faint smile.

Bleach injections for Covid

At the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020, Trump suggested the medical community research a way to bring light into the body to somehow kill the virus after hearing an expert say that the Covid-19 virus was in the Sunlight cannot survive for long.

“Suppose we hit the body with a powerful light – be it ultraviolet light or just a very strong light. Suppose you bring the light into the body, which can be done either through the skin or through other means,” he was heard saying.

He then took his bizarre suggestions a step further and suggested injecting bleach or isopropyl alcohol into the veins to kill the virus. “I see the disinfectant that will knock it out in a minute, a minute. And is there a way to do something like that through an internal injection or almost a cleanse? As you can see, it goes into the lungs,” he said.

Doctors rushed to dismiss his claims and warned Americans not to inject or ingest bleach or chemicals because it would be fatal.

McDonald's lunch at the White House

If you are invited to dinner at the White House, expect the most luxurious and sumptuous meal of your life. But in 2019, Trump proved that assumption wrong after he served fast food, including burgers and fries from McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King, to the Clemson University football team.

With White House staff on leave due to a government shutdown, the president took on the task of putting together the dinner menu. The billionaire real estate agent even bragged about personally paying for the entire dinner.

We throw paper towels at hurricane victims

In 2017, Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria. President Donald Trump met with survivors and helped distribute relief supplies to them. However, he chose an unusual path to do so.

Images from the spot showed the president hurling rolls of paper towels at Puerto Ricans waiting with their arms outstretched to catch the supplies. Then he began picking up cans of food and a pack of batteries, passing them to random people in the room and shaking their hands.

I call African countries shit

At a meeting with lawmakers in 2018, Trump questioned why the United States wanted to call immigrants from Haiti and African countries “damned countries.”

“Why are all these people from shitty countries coming here?” Trump said, according to a Washington Post report.

Although he was on record saying this, he later denied using the term and said that he was just using harsh language.
