I-77 reopens after semi-truck accident in Iredell County

IREDELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV) – All lanes on I-77 have reopened following a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Iredell County Thursday morning.

The accident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. on the northbound side, a mile past Exit 36 ​​for Highway 150.

The NC Department of Transportation Initially it was said that the highway would be closed until 11:30 a.m., but all lanes would reopen around 8 a.m

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the accident and how it happened.

Traffic cameras showed that the cab of the tractor-trailer was facing oncoming traffic and the trailer was on the other side of the road.
