Man accused of peeping in Concord Mills restroom was previously banned from the mall

CONCORD, NC (WBTV) – A man was arrested after he was allegedly caught peeking into a women's restroom at the Concord Mills Mall on Monday.

The victim was able to capture video of the suspect, which enabled a quick arrest. Concord police said. He was identified as 29-year-old Joshua Edward Stinson.

Shortly after the alleged peeping incident, Stinson was found walking near the intersection of Bruton Smith Boulevard and Weddington Road, about a mile from the mall. He was arrested there.

He was charged with second-degree trespassing and peeping into a room occupied by another person. He is being held without bail in the Cabarrus County Jail.

Prior to Monday's allegations, police said Stinson had been permanently banned from Concord Mills property.
