Second teen arrested in connection with murder in downtown Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Police arrested another teenager Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting in downtown Omaha last month.

An 18-year-old boy was taken into custody on Thursday for accessory to a crime, according to a report. He was booked into Douglas County Corrections.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday on charges of second-degree murder and aggravated use of a weapon. He is currently at the Douglas County Youth Center, according to a news release.

The charges stem from the death of 26-year-old Ramon Tramble Jr., who died in the hospital after a September shooting near 16th and Farnam streets.

The investigation is still ongoing.
