NCSD announces 11 arrests, search for four more in recent drug bust

NEWTON, Miss. (WTOK) – Newton County Sheriff Joedy Pennington announced Thursday that the department has completed a 10-month investigation with 11 arrests related to a drug bust in Newton. The department and the Newton County SRT (Special Response Team) executed a search warrant at 104 East First Street Extension in Newton and recovered suspected methamphetamine and a firearm from the residence.

In addition to the search warrant, the following suspects were taken into custody:

1. Virginia Hale – Selling controlled substances

2. Joshua Walker – Selling Controlled Substances x2

3. Christopher Hillie – Selling controlled substances

4. Dustin Savell – Selling controlled substances

5. Tyneshia Body – Selling Controlled Substances x3

6. Gerome Bailey – Selling Controlled Substances x2

7. Derek Wash – Selling Controlled Substances x2

8. Timmerson Holloway – Sale of controlled substances

9. Tyrone Crafton – Selling controlled substances

10. Richard Buckley – Selling Controlled Substances x2

11. Samuel Goss – Selling controlled substances

In addition to these arrests, the Newton County Sheriff's Department is seeking the following individuals for the sale of illegal narcotics: James “Chip” Sciple, Jeffery Evans, Derrick Grass and Deborah Pyror.
