Two women arrested in connection with deadly shooting in Warren

WARREN, Mich. — Two women were detained for questioning early Friday morning in connection with a shooting that killed a man in Warren.

The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. Nov. 8 in the 11000 block of Paige Avenue. When officers arrived at the home, a man was found dead from gunshot wounds in the backyard.

It's unclear how the shooting began, but police believe two women were involved in the incident and were left at a home in the 1100 block of Jewett Avenue – a few blocks from the shooting.

The two women barricaded themselves in the house but were eventually arrested for questioning.

Investigators are working to find other suspects involved in the shooting.
