Victims identified in Duluth murder-suicide

DULUTH, Minn. (Valley News Live/Northern News Now) –

Five people are dead, including two children in a murder-suicide in Duluth. Police released the names of those killed Thursday. All were residents of Duluth.

47-year-old Erin Abramson and 15-year-old Jacob Nephew were found dead from gunshot wounds at the home in the 6000 block of Tacony Street.

45-year-old Kathryn Nephew (Ramsland) and 7-year-old Oliver Nephew were found dead from gunshot wounds at a home in the 4400 block of West 6th Street.

Also in that home was the suspect 46-year-old Anthony Nephew. Police say it appears he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say everyone involved knew each other and there is no threat to the community.

Police will host a press conference at noon on Friday, November 8. Valley News Live sister station Northern News Now will be streaming it and the Duluth Police Department will also be streaming it on its Facebook page.
