Stuart Air Show organizers “expect this year to build on last year’s success”

STUART, Fla. – The Stuart Air Show is gearing up for another exciting weekend.

Board member Ben Hogarth reflected on last year's incredible success.

“We had an extremely successful event. “The air show not only achieved its best fiscal year in 2023, but also brought millions into the local community, benefiting various nonprofit organizations,” he told WPTV.

Hogarth emphasized the importance of community engagement.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do at the air show,” he said. “Last year was remarkable; The event went almost smoothly. In addition to providing funds to the community during the event, we also donated over $50,000 to the organizations that helped coordinate.”

Ben Hogarth says the Stuart Air Show “achieved its best financial year in 2023”.

One of the many organizations that volunteer is the YMCA of the Treasure Coast.

Morgan Murphy from the YMCA shared their contributions saying, “Every year we work with the air show to create a kids zone. This year we will have a maze, a coloring wall and an opportunity for children to write letters to troops stationed overseas.”

With the support of the YMCA and other partners, Hogarth is expecting a fantastic air show this year.

“We expect this year to build on last year’s success, particularly as the A-10 Warthog or Thunderbolt retires,” he said. “We expect an increased number of regional and even international visitors to the trade fair.”
