Girlfriend arrested and accused of shooting her boyfriend multiple times

DRASCO, Ark. (KAIT) – A Drasco woman is facing multiple charges after officials say she shot and killed her boyfriend.

According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a disturbance at a home on Altom Road in Drasco on Friday, November 8th.

They found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. After rendering assistance, the man was flown to a hospital for treatment.

Detectives began investigating the shooting. The man's girlfriend, Rebecca Mryglod of Drasco, was arrested and taken to the Cleburne County Jail.

No charges have been filed yet, but she is being held on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree domestic violence and concurrent possession of drugs and firearms.
