Rapper Bhad Bhabie appears to confirm cancer diagnosis at 21

Less than eight months after the rapper Bhad Bhabie When she gave birth to her first child, she was apparently diagnosed with cancer.

“I'm sorry for the loss of my cancer medication [sic] Weight,” Bhabie, 21, wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, November 7. “I'm slowly gaining weight again. So stop running [with] the worst stories 💕.”

Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, has not commented further on her apparent diagnosis. Her Thursday message and possible revelation was written in response to a flood of comments about her weight.

After Bhabie posted several selfies on her Instagram last month, social media commenters claimed she had become “too skinny.”

“What happened to her? I don't know how she is and I've only known her for a short time, someone please explain to me,” one user wrote.

Another added: “I feel so bad that you looked so good, now you seem really bad and I'm worried.”

In early March this year, Bhabie gave birth to her first child, daughter Kali Love, with whom she shares the same child Le Vaughn.

“The name doesn't actually have any special meaning, it's just that his mother chose the middle name and then I had a list of five names that I liked and Kali was one of them,” Bhabie previously said People. “I thought Love was a good match for Kali.”

The social media phenomenon first rose to fame in 2016 when she appeared on Dr. Phil in a section titled “I want to give up my 13-year-old daughter who framed me for carjacking, knife-wielding and twerking, who tried to frame me for a crime.” Bhabie was subsequently given the viral nickname “Cash Me Outside Girl.”

The next year she launched a rap career.

“I have always loved music. When I first started, I didn’t really have the confidence and didn’t think I could actually do it,” Bhabie shared Basic magazine in an October 2023 profile. “I've worked with many co-writers, but now I do most of the writing myself. I've definitely evolved. I’ve always loved music and rapping, so it was natural for me to make it a career.”

She added: “I feel like a lot of my older music was kind of childish, but I was young – 14 and 15 years old. “I'm 18 now and will definitely show that I'm more mature, both regarding my content and its provision. … I've made a lot of my own music, but it was mostly about what the label wanted. When you get signed, all they think about is hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. I didn’t have many opportunities or a strong voice. But I'm older now. I understand the game now.”
