If an inmate dies, a medical emergency is suspected

ROCK SPRINGS — An inmate died Friday afternoon at the Sweetwater County Detention Center after a suspected medical emergency. The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office did not identify the inmate, stating that the inmate was simply a woman in her 20s, and chose to withhold identification pending notification of family members and an investigation into her was initiated
