In a recent tweet, the enigmatic SHIB leader, known by the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama, shared a tweet published by major crypto exchange Gemini, founded and operated by the Winklevoss “crypto twins.”

Kusama commented that this was an “interesting statistic.”

Investors under 30 use cryptocurrencies

Statistics published by Gemini say: “Almost half of people under 30 invest in cryptocurrencies. What an incredible world awaits us.” However, the tweet does not reveal where exactly this is happening. However, since Gemini is headquartered in New York, it is likely that the tweet was referring to Americans.

The crypto community responded to Gemini's statement with supportive comments and made optimistic predictions about how they believe the future will be changed by the global integration of cryptocurrencies.

Commenters on Shytoshi Kusama's post had a similar reaction. However, some of them wondered about the details, claiming that the rough numbers shared by twins hardly represent a large percentage of the world's population.

Shytoshi Kusama Releases Groundbreaking SHIB Proposal for US Government

Kusama's SHIB proposal for the US government

As U.Today reported earlier this week, Shytoshi Kusama published a blog post that included a groundbreaking proposal for the new US leader to build a “Strategic Center for Innovation in Blockchain” – or SHIB.

This plan envisioned transforming a potential US city in a variety of ways through the use of blockchain technology. This transformation would include improving cybersecurity, securing communications channels, protecting critical infrastructure and developing the next generation of internet technologies.

The plan also included proposals to create numerous economic incentives, improve talent development and the regulatory framework. Kusama estimated the approximate cost of implementing all parts of his strategic plan at $1.3 billion to $2.35 billion. According to his calculations, the implementation of the plan would take five to ten years.

Curiously, however, SHIB itself was not mentioned anywhere except for the acronym SHIB. Most likely, Kusama intends to build the whole thing on the Shibarium blockchain, released in August 2023. Currently, the SHIB team is also busy designing and building the Layer 3 solution. Earlier this year, the company raised $12 million from various investors for this purpose. In addition, the team is also busy working on the SHIB metaverse, which could also be integrated as part of the SHIB initiative.
