Police are asking for help finding the suspect in the murder

HOPKINSVILLE, Ken. (WFIE) – Hopkinsville police are asking for help finding a man suspected of murder.

Police said they responded to a call of a person shot Friday.

They say 27-year-old Jacorey Majors received medical attention at the scene and was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities say they are looking for 27-year-old Tavarious Mathews as a person of interest in this investigation.

According to police, Mathews is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
