Luka Doncic goes viral after apparent flop in Mavericks-Suns game

The Dallas Mavericks are 5-4 this season after a narrow loss to the Phoenix Suns. They lost 114-113 as the Suns moved to 8-1 on the season.

For the Mavericks, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 59 points, with Doncic scoring 30 of them. However, he didn't score particularly efficiently as he shot 11 of 25 from the field. He added seven rebounds and seven assists, although his box score was minus-seven.

While he added a decent stat to the game, the Mavericks superstar went viral with an obvious flop that the NBA places a lot of emphasis on. The video of his flop garnered over 2.6 million views in one post alone and was further shared on social media to garner even more views.

Irving scored his 29 points by shooting an efficient 10-of-17 from the field. He was a bright spot for the team as he scored a high of nine in penalty area scoring.

After a day of rest, the Mavericks next head into a tough atmosphere by taking on the Denver Nuggets on the road and looking to maintain their winning record.
