Wanted for murder, mobile man caught with pile of fentanyl

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the Mobile County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the Baymont Inn on W.I 65 Service Road. MCSO Narcotics and Special Operations Units arrested Jamelle Quinton Thomas (DOB 07/06/1977).

MCSO received information from the location listed above about Thomas selling prescription drugs laced/compressed with fentanyl. The following was found in the room where Thomas lived:

  • 478 grams to squeeze Adderall 30 mg (Orange)
  • 77 grams of Alprazolam 2 mg to be pressed (white bars)
  • 44 grams of Alprazolam 2 mg to be pressed (blue bars)
  • 46 grams of oxycodone 10 mg to be pressed (pink)
  • 61 grams of oxycodone 30 mg to be pressed (blue)
  • $806.00 in US currency
  • Various drug paraphernalia

Thomas is charged with trafficking fentanyl, tampering with physical evidence and drug paraphernalia. Thomas also had an active arrest warrant from the Mobile Police Department for murder
