Former Georgia QB Aaron Murray has a message for Carson Beck Georgia fans

Georgia football has four games left in the regular season, and now more than ever quarterback Carson Beck needs to start correcting his mistakes. Beck now had two consecutive games with three interceptions, but fortunately the Bulldogs were still able to win both games.

But as difficult as the next two games may be for Georgia, their play will likely need to improve if they want to finish the SEC season with two more wins.

To fix these problems, Beck needs to know what he needs to work on. However, the last people Beck should listen to are the fans, because Beck himself, Kirby Smart, and everyone else on the team know more than the fans.

But another person Beck could learn from is former Georgia QB Aaron Murray, who recently shared a video online specifically addressing Beck and the Georgia fan base.

“Play within the system, your plays will come, make them when they’re there, don’t force them.”

And here are Murray's comments aimed at the Georgia fan base.

“That's still a very talented quarterback … It's the stupid mistakes that keep Georgia from being a really, really good offense, a team that I don't think anyone in the country can handle.”

According to Murray, it's really as simple as being more patient and not forcing it. And that applies to Beck and the fan base.

Beck needs to take his time and realize that sometimes it's better to make the smart play than to try to make the miraculous play. Sure, he's more than capable of making the big break, but sometimes what he's trying to do just isn't there. The best example of this was when he threw two passes into double and triple coverage against Florida that resulted in interceptions. Instead, he must either throw the ball away or throw as many yards on the ground as possible. And if he has to take a bag with him, that's fine too.

Murray's message to the fan base is also very important. Murray also thinks Georgia fans need to be more patient with Beck as well, because it's abundantly clear how close this offense is to elite. There are so many examples where they move the ball with ease, but it's the stupid mistakes that undo all the good things when they shoot themselves in the foot. As Murray said, if they can eliminate these stupid mistakes, no team will likely be able to beat this Georgia team.

Georgia's next test to prove itself is Saturday against Ole Miss. The Rebels are a serious threat to Georgia, but if the Bulldogs can bring a win back to Athens, UGA fans will likely believe in this team again.
