Motorcyclist killed in crash in Perinton

Perinton, NY – A motorcyclist has died from his injuries in a crash Thursday morning, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Just after 9:15 a.m., emergency crews responded to Turk Hill Road between Garnsey and Steele streets in Perinton for a report of an accident.

Investigators determined the motorcyclist was traveling southbound when he crossed onto the northbound lane and struck a vehicle.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His identity has not been released. The road is reopened.
