OVI suspect arrested after passing out at the wheel: Lakewood Police Blotter

LAKEWOOD, Ohio –

POV: Detroit Avenue

An officer arrested a man for operating a vehicle while intoxicated at 3:26 a.m. Nov. 2 after receiving a report of someone passed out in the Taco Bell drive-thru lane.

POV: W. 117th Street

A patrol officer arrested a man at 3:30 a.m. Oct. 28 for driving a vehicle while intoxicated on W. 117th Street at Franklin Avenue.

Damage to property: Reveley Avenue

A caller reported at 10:19 a.m. that someone had broken the back window of his car.

Theft: Detroit Avenue

A Walgreens employee called police at 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 30 and reported that a man had left with a bag full of items, including shower gel and deodorant. According to a police report, a responding officer arrested a man for theft.

Disorderly Conduct: Detroit Avenue

A man was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and ejected after he was accused of urinating on the back door of the Lakewood Public Library on Detroit Avenue at Mars Avenue.

Theft: Detroit Avenue

A caller reported on October 31 at 4:00 p.m. that there was a suspected shoplifter in the office at the Marc's store on Detroit Avenue at Cook Avenue. According to a police incident report, the suspect was arrested on charges of theft and criminal tools.

Damage to property: Detroit Avenue

At 9:45 p.m., a caller called police and reported seeing someone slashing the tires of a parked car near Summit Avenue in Detroit.

Grand Theft Vehicle: Richland Avenue

On November 1st at 3:38 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen.
