2 pro-Palestinian protesters arrested at Dartmouth event

HANOVER, NH (WCAX) – Police arrested two pro-Palestinian protesters after they disrupted a presentation at Dartmouth College on Wednesday.

U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., spoke as part of a series of election speakers on college campuses. According to The Dartmouth student newspaper, protesters allegedly chanted statements accusing Fetterman of supporting genocide.

According to Hanover police, 21-year-old Dartmouth student Greyson Xiao and 22-year-old Emma Herndon, a school employee, were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

The newspaper says the college did not ask police to make the arrests.
