Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh, who entertained audiences with his acting and dubbing performances, passed away at his home in Chennai at 11 pm on Saturday. He was 80 years old. His son Mahadevan officially confirmed the news via his Instagram. The cause of death was his poor health.

Delhi Ganesh started his career with K. Balachander's Pattina Parvesam and went on to play supporting roles in more than 400 films and dozens of television series. His most notable films include Sindhu Bhairavi (1985), Nayakan (1987), Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989), Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990) and Aahaa..! (1997) and Thenali (2000). He also gained great fame for his character in the series Ragasiyam (1996). His last appearance was in Indian 2.
